I think we should get Eller, Nieto and Sherwood at the trade deadline
Counter with nemeth and soderbergI think we should get Eller, Nieto and Sherwood at the trade deadline
One costs 4.1M and the other 9M.Andersson has been announced as not available.
Carlo and Jones are vastly different players. I much prefer Jones

now you’re thinkingCounter with nemeth and soderberg
Agreed. But I actually wouldn’t be surprised if their costs were similar. One costs 4.1M and the other 9M.
Yeah but the Avs always get there guy. Especially many years too late. If we are paying Jones money I would rather go for ParaykoAgreed. But I actually wouldn’t be surprised if their costs were similar.
The Seth Jones NMC can have a massive effect on cost. I have my doubts that Carlo would fit in this system. I have zero doubts Jones would
Difference being here is that I don’t think St Louis has even the slightest interest in moving Parayko.Yeah but the Avs always get there guy. Especially many years too late. If we are paying Jones money I would rather go for Parayko
Maybe not. They don’t know what the f*** they are doing with that team. Friedman has been linking him to Toronto forever. I just feel like we made the tough decision to get rid of Bo and now we want to tie up that much salary on D again? What we need is a value contract at 4D.Difference being here is that I don’t think St Louis has even the slightest interest in moving Parayko.
Gotta go with what’s available and not just what we want.

I’m not sure about Ferraro either but I posted it because it was linked to Pagnotta
Meanwhile reports are coming in that the NHL ratings are at an all time low in the U.S. Are we sure that the cap will go up as much as they have been projecting? Especially years 2 & 3?When we traded Bo the FO didn't know the Cap was gonna go up by 26m in 3 years
Good analysis. This seems the most logical, although I'd argue the fix here is less about improving conditioning, and more about "working smarter--not harder". The problem is that the fix is would be such a stylistic teardown for how he plays currently, that it likely would need to occur in the offseason.
