Hawks scratch Jones and Hall with an Avs scout in the building so he can't see how **** they are in person.
My biggest concern with Jones is that he's a big dman crossing the wrong side of 30. I'd love him this season and next though.. and I suppose that we are entering the stage where there is no tomorrow, there is only today. If I knew we had enough parts left over to fix the center depth I'd be all over Jones to the Avs. It's a move PL would do to absolutely push the Avs over the top on defense.
Because the Avs always get their man. Even if it's a decade late.

100%. Jones absolutely is not good as a 1D. But the only time he was ever remotely insulated(aka played with Werenski) like he’d be here in Colorado he was very very good. He’s not a 1D, but that doesn’t mean he’s bad. Honestly kinda like EJ back in his day. EJ was a good defender, but he just wasn’t a 1D and that’s not a bad thing.
