Kadri for Mitts

Pay for Parayko at 50% for this year, just extend Parayko this offseason. Go full monster all in the next two years.

Yeah I believe the cap would work, Parakyo at 50% is 3.25M + 7M for Kadri youre at 10.25M

Mitts plus the money we have left, and dropping the requisite roster players and you can probably get there.

Don't think the Avs would have had many problems matching that Jones deal. So, one of these is probably true. 1. Avs didn't really want Jones. 2. Avs didn't want Jones @ 7M. 3. Jones didn't want to go to Colorado. 4. Avs have something else going on. 5. Jones doesn't actually exist and we all live in a simulation.

Count me as another one being glad we didn’t get Jones even at 7 mill. I rather give that 7 mill long term deal to a 2C. We can find a cheaper option on D. If we can get one more solid depth RD, get Manson back healthy, we’ll be good.

Are you serious? They also have Barkov at 10 and Reinhart 8.5. Their best players get paid as well as ours do. The Panthers just happen to have a significantly more competent management group then the Avs.

I wouldn't want Reinhardt at 8.5
