DeBrusk if I’m GM doesn’t start term or dollars with a 7

I would do 6/40 NMC

Lindholm 7/56
DeBrusk 6/40
Heiniekins 3/8.25

Donny - burn some cash, babe…..I want a parade next summer
Spend wisely, those contracts should be burned.

They will have both

Zacha - Lindholm- Pastrnak

Marchand - Coyle - DeBrusk

HEINEN- Freddie- GEEKIE
That's a great top 9 and a playoff team. The questions I have, Sweeney wants to get faster, is this Bruins lineup faster? Can a long-term deal be beneficial for DeBrusk so he can focus on playing consistent hockey? Is Lindholm the missing piece?

I’m very excited to see what happens

DeBrusk could go any way and I’m thinking Lindholm has to be coming here

There will be a wild card guy

The top 2 lines has to be talent and as much as toughness & speed as possible

The bottom 6 is your personality

Bruins were big and with Lucic were put well together

Geekie DeBrusk Freddy Beecher Brazeau all did well against Canes at times

DeBrusk is fast so I would think they gotta get him or Chandler Stephenson- they are two of fastest players available

I get Maroon is slow, first he was coming off back surgery, second one slow forward who brings toughness, intangibles and grit, who will be the 12th/13th forward is not the problem. Would I prefer Olivier, Duhaime, Carrick or Luke Kunin, yes. But Maroon's lack of speed will not be the reason this team doesn't get faster. They need a Maroon as much as they need a Boquist

I wouldn't touch Krug. Him and Gryz have the same issue, they don't have the explosive skating and ability to evade forecheckers that they had in their mid-20s. They were always smaller D, but now they are smaller D who are much easier to hit.

I'll always like Tory, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

You don't hand Lohrei the quarterback position, but he's clearly the heir apparent.

Perhaps Lindholm might take the reigns while they ease Mason into the role.

My hope is that they will not continue, even during a "gestation period," to lean on McAvoy.

Charlie is called upon to do many things. Too many things.

My sense is that given the $9.5 m. contract and leadership role, he believes he should be the point man. But he is not Raymond Bourque and the offense will never run through McAvoy. That's not who he is, and that's okay. He's plenty good elsewhere.

I don't know who they bring in to lighten his load, but allowing Charlie to focus on what he does best should be part of the equation of bringing in a defensively responsible center. It might also figure in whomever they acquire on the blue line.

Relative to the latter, I wouldn't mind Chicken Man, but I'm not enthused. He has an extensive injury history and no jam. I still want Brenden Dillon. True, he's 33, but he would bring everything I want on the back end as the Bruins transition to their next era.

Two cents.

I am on board with the following…

Zacha - Lindholm - Pasta
Marchand - Coyle - P Kane
Heinen - Frederic - Geekie
Beecher - Poitras - Brazeau

Bottom 9 mix a bit in the air…
Get tougher in Heinen’s spot and move him to 13th forward.

Ullmark out for 10th pick (+)
DeBrusk, Forbort, Gryz all move on.

Bring in a LS Defenceman and give Bucci a shot at # 2 netminder.

All ready to go.

They need to get him of PP 1 and have him out there with another D on the latter part of the PP with unit 2.

I'd use him like Vegas use Pietrangelo. Still their No.1 guy plays shutdown minutes and kills penalties, but Theodore runs PP 1. I think by this time next year Lohrei will be that guy.

Taking a page out of Oneman here but what if there was a free agent who was

Younger than Debrusk
Has as a better ppg in the playoffs than him (with a fairly large sample size given his age)
Equally if not faster
Averages about 35 points per year

What would you pay him?

I would like Kane - I know he’s been bouncing around and not sure what he’s really got but he did ok points was in Detroit

We had Brian Propp & Jerome Iginla we can have this guy
