Congrats Monty win against rags thanks. Monty wasnt a fit here no hard feelings.

I don't have a problem moving on from Monty, as he lost the team. i don't like the revisionist history like he didn't do a good job here.

He made some mistakes, but the biggest was probably letting Bergeron play his las game in Montreal, and I don't think any coach would have stopped him. And it was just ridiculously dumb luck.

Just so much bad luck to have one of the best teams ever and then lose because of an awful run of injury luck at the wrong time
Nah he blew that 3 to 1 series lead to Uranus. It was a debacle for the ages how he managed that series .

They could always just ride the train there with William Nylander

Congrats Monty, now you've created more havoc in Manhattan.

Pretty sure that Drury bit came out before the Rangers played the Blues.

Current NHL plus/minus leader, former Bruin, current Hurricane Dimitry Orlov (+20).

Orlov was one of the weirdest players I have ever watched. He seemed to oscillate between playing like a defensive defenseman and offensive forward multiple times each game. Was maybe the first time I questioned Montgomery’s coaching. Had no idea what his role was for that team.

Barry Trotz's Orlov = Rock solid defensive D-man who could move the puck

Monty's Orlov = Ray Bourque - Temu edition

guy is an annoying mouth breather but good on him coming to defense of restaurant manager

100% this. Not a fan of his but good on him for stepping up to protect the manager and restaurant employees. He posted on Instagram that 6 of the 7 guys were arrested so I hope they throw the book at all of them.

I don't possess the necessary scouting skills and I know it's early. Plus, I'm going by the relatively small sample size of the eye test of the games I've seen.

But is Michkov going to be better than Bedard? I know Bedard has been slumping and Michkov has better line mates.

It looks the gamble Philly took that others didn't is going to be a huge win.

I agree. It is very good on him.

I will say this though, and Im sorry to be a negative nancy here, but he's very lucky to still be with us today. One of those 7 guys pulls a weapon, Biz may no longer be here.

I just urge people to please consider this if you're ever put into this kind of predicament. If possible, stay out of it and let the authorities handle it. You have people who care about you and there are a lot of nuts out there.

Everything i've heard about Biz off camera paints a picture of a pretty good dude so that tracks. Absolutely ballsy of him to try and take on 7 guys given as said that could end very poorly for him. but respect for still doing the right thing.

Just seems like a guy who knows how to ham it up for the cameras. Somebody my buddy knows apparently bumped into him at some function in Ontario or something. Said he was the most quiet, unassuming guy in the crowd and he would have never known it was him without walking by him.

Biz is salt of the earth, man. Genuinely such a good dude.

Not one bit surprised he stepped up to do this at all. Looked like he handled himself well, as most of those guys are worse off than he is, lol.
