I like Brady personally but it's getting to be a bit much around here. He's never coming here, his old man wouldn't play for the Bruins/Jacobs and I'd wager neither would Brady.
I sat next to Keith Tkachuk at Logan Airport about 10-12 years ago and recognized him. I actually brought up the trade rumor of him coming to Boston. He told me he was told by his GM a trade looked imminent and be ready for it. He didn't say what happened that killed the deal but whatever his contract had for NTC he was going to go.

Jesper Boqvist was entirely unremarkable roster spackle in Boston. No one was lining up to give him a long-term year here. Nobody cared.

But typically, now that he’s signed in Florida?

There were several people in here who wanted him re-signed. He had speed and some skill. Something Boston could have used. It's crazy that Florida has Nosek,
Greer & Boqvist and Boston didn't sign them.

Affordable complimentary pieces can make a big difference on top echelon teams.

Not so much of a difference on an, at best, middle of the pack team.
Greer and Nosek played 4th line minutes on Boston and they are playing 4th line minutes in Florida. Boqvist averages 1 more minute a game than Samoskevich
so he seems to swing between 3rd and 4th line. I don't really understand the complimentary comment regarding Greer\Nosek.

My point is just that a grit guy with ancillary facets to his game means different things to different teams.

Is Pat Maroon type going to help a cellar dweller? No.

Is Pat Maroon a Cup winner on different teams? Yes.

Would you trade for Maroon at TDL is you out of playoffs? No.

Would a contender trade for him at TDL. History says obviously yes.

So many people were piling on Boqvist from the beginning and I just did not and never did get it.
He was easily worth league min in my opinion and was disappointed he walked.
