I think Florida did better than it seems. Seth Jones at 7m is a lot more digestible assuming he is better on a better team.

For a late 1st round pick and a promising goalie but he’s had some struggles and their backup right now.

Not a bad all-in move imo.

The Panthers turned Forsling into an absolute stud. They got steady play out of OEL. They'll back themselves to do it again with Jones. The talent is there, he's only 30. Wouldn't bet against them.

On another note, while I think the NHL is holding too many outdoor games, the Columbus-Detroit tilt currently underway at Ohio State has been a really good game with solid presentation. Can't complain about this one.
