Prospect Info: 2024-2025 Ottawa Senators In the system

HMs on the top 500 list include Nordberg, Elliasson and Boucher

Nice to see that Nordberg has gotten recognized for the growth in his game.

Has improved his numbers greatly, going from 1.53 PPG (penalties per game) last season to 2.11 this year.

The scouts must be pleased with that kind of development year-to-year.

The D
2. Buium --- moves to top D spot
3. Levshunov
4. Parekh
6. Dickinson
13. Yakemchuk (Sens only prospect on this list)
14. Silayev

Goalies

1. Askarov (SJ)
2. Fowler (Mtl)
3. Cossa (Det)
...
11. Merilainen
Merilainen has better fundamentals than Devon Levi, should be higher imho.

I’m getting sick of seeing the same points over and over.

Powerplay he hands it off for the one timer.

Or powerplay he takes the one timer. That’s it.

While you'd definitely like to see more even strength production, I'd rather he produce offense that way than how he was doing it last year by jumping into the play constantly, trying to dangle through defenders and playing like a 4th forward at times.

He won't be able to play that kind of game at the NHL level, but he may be able to be a major threat on the PP with his hands and shooting ability.

I suspect taking one-timers or passing them off (should he play the QB role) will be where most of his production comes from when he is in the NHL.

Yeah we need that excellent powerful shot from the point to be more threatening ngl.

If he continued this year to simply have his way with everyone it would also be pretty sweet lol
