Latest update on Patrik Laine, and an interesting scene live from practice

Based on the circulating information, we almost certainly expected to see Laine and Savard back in uniform this Friday (the next game) against the Washington Capitals, but it seems that won't be the case after all.

The PP scored two goals against Vancouver and was very good once we replaced Slaf with Kirby Dach. We do miss the threat no doubt but we have other weapons. The second line also had it's most dominant game of the season double shifting Suzuki Caufield and Evans. We need a Laine who is 100% health wise so if he's not traveling he's not that.

I would assume Kapanen will be out with a concussion, you can see him hit his head really hard on the ice after his helmet got knocked off, he's lucky that could have gone worse for him, go to 4:59

They beat us last time. I see it as an opportunity to try someone who could potentially replace Newhook long term. Pezz sucks even more than Newhook. He's 100% useless.
