Injury Report: 2024-2025 Injury Updates

Evans was at practice as the 4th line centre, so must be fine and likely a tweak

To be fair, Laine was just starting to get back to form before this derailed him. I’m sure he’ll play at home on Saturday. It’s a lot of work to get back after injury and illness.
 
There was something on the sportsnet ticket said Laine went to Washington with the team, and is likely to play tomorrow night.
Anyone else hear this??

Unfortunately no,



Too bad, the team has been winning but you can tell they miss him on that 2nd line and on the PP.

The PP scored two goals against Vancouver and was very good once we replaced Slaf with Kirby Dach. We do miss the threat no doubt but we have other weapons. The second line also had it's most dominant game of the season double shifting Suzuki Caufield and Evans. We need a Laine who is 100% health wise so if he's not traveling he's not that.

I would assume Kapanen will be out with a concussion, you can see him hit his head really hard on the ice after his helmet got knocked off, he's lucky that could have gone worse for him, go to 4:59

 


I thought we might have dodged the bullet with Laine coming back but now Newhook's out with Flu.

Hope they've nipped it in the bud and our guys don't all get it while they're playing so well.

We can theorize who is the next victim based on the pic of the guys after they landed in Utah.

Talk about a terrible timing for having a flu epidemic. I feel like they did a poor job at isolating Laine from his teammates.

Pezz can't fill any minute. If Newhook can't play call up someone...anyone.
