InJuRy PrOnEWhat a freak jnjury. The poor guy, he just can’t catch a damn break.
The Melnyk Report is in: "The skate is a lie"I guess I was too focused on looking for the foot/leg twisting.
We can get Eugene Melnyk’s forensic team to break it down for us.
It was his own skate. You can see his left skate come up near his right knee when he fell.
his own heel (remembering from last night’s replay). I figured he was cut because of his reaction after touching/looking and the way he bolted offLaceration? That’s surprising. I don’t remember seeing him get a skate near his leg.
Have to wonder if this guy is cursed at this point.
With 5 games coming up next week the timing isn't great.Holy Christ! Laval getting hit big time. This just sucks. Better get some reinforcements. That’s a lot of size out of the lineup. I hope they don’t slide as a result.
I would’ve liked them to grab some recent guys off waivers. They’re going to be in trouble with that lineup as evidenced last night. It doesn’t help that Mesar and Kidney contribute squat. Still mind boggling that Reinbacher wasn’t sent down even though he’s technically on IR. . I’m sure they could’ve fudged things to allow him to practice with them. With 5 games coming up next week the timing isn't great.

True but that rarely happens. I’m not even sure that can happen. Wouldn’t that result in a vicious circle? The two teams constantly waiving the guy and reclaiming? If they grab players off waivers, they have to waive them to send them down to the AHL, in most cases, the waiving team just claims them back and then can send them to the AHL.

I was watching some short rack speed skating yesterday looking at those blades and thinking to myself eventually something bad is bound to happen. With all of the technological advances in player equipment, one would think that player socks should have cut-resistant materials.
The technology is available and it wouldn't add much weight. It must have been a very deep cut to take him out for the remainder of the season.I was watching some short rack speed skating yesterday looking at those blades and thinking to myself eventually something bad is bound to happen.
"C'est une lacération sur le 'thigh'"Guhle had surgery already and is out indefinitely. My french isn't great but I believe it is some sort of laceration on his thigh...like I said my French isn't real good
Yeah but how's your french?Guhle had surgery already and is out indefinitely. My french isn't great but I believe it is some sort of laceration on his thigh...like I said my French isn't real good
I speak fluently but I left Quebec when I was 8. Not many Texans can walk into a Quebec establishment and speak so fluently that you would never know I was not from the province. I can pull that off.Yeah but how's your french?
My brother can, but he left in his late 20s and still speaks to my Mom in French (only) to this day at least once a week.I speak fluently but I left Quebec when I was 8.
