2024 2025 Injury Thread Hf’s Longest Thread Just Got Longer

I'd rather play either the Golden Showers and Whiny Jets than the Stars. You know Mikko will get 9 goals in a 5 game series.
If Avs are gonna make a deep run, they have to go through this teams anyway, regardless in which round. We play Vegas or Jets in the 1st and if we win, most likely have to face Dallas in the next round. We play Dallas in the 1st round and win, most likely have to face Vegas, Jets in the next round etc… unless there are upsets

I’d rather face the Stars without Miro. Dealing with players’ injuries is a part of hockey in the POs. It’s merciless and an unfortunate reality. So take advantage of it.
The thing is, we’re not even sure if Heiskanen is not gonna play in the 1st round. The word is he may or may not be available. We won’t know until the playoffs

The latest is nope. He’s out for Round 1. So if we have to face him eventually then it might as well be now when he just returned

Is the latest a definitive no, he won’t play? I haven’t heard that
RIAL posted this

“Jim Nil spoke to ESPN on Saturday and said Heiskanen isn't expected to be back in round one.

DeBoer, about three weeks ago, said he could return at some point during the first round. The Nil statement is more recent.”

I mean, it would be nice if we had four teams who felt like Sutter and they all just fofeited one after the other.

Since that doesn't happen. But I do believe this team is seriously undercaring at the moment, I do believe we will see a complete flip of the switch in the first game of the playoffs. The question I have, is whether/how often any of the bad shit they've allowed to go unadressed will creep back into the games.

They flipped the switch big time last year against Winnipeg. It was a completely different team than the one the Jets throttled 7-0 the week before. These guys are pros and have played a crap ton of playoff hockey over the last few years. They know how to shift gears

We need 1 point from our remaining 4 games to stay above St. Louis, IF they win their remaining 3 games.

Rest MacKinnon and Makar for all I care, if it helps them be 1% more ready for the playoffs.

I bet we see more of these since we are now locked into the 3 seed.

We technically aren’t, but might as well be.

If we win the remaining 3 games in regulation and Dallas lose their games in regulation, we finish 2nd in the Central.
