I swear Drouin must have some sort of core muscle needing surgery that he's trying to play through but will eventually put him out 4-6 months.
It's crazy he got hurt in game 1, continued, was out for weeks, came back, re-injured what was initially hurting him, and nobody knows wtf it is.

It’s worrisome because he has disappeared again now for a few days and not skating while Manson keeps ramping up.
Last video of Drouin was him skating well snapping shots at a close to game ready pace, now he’s not skating again.

Can’t we just LTIR Drouin, Wood, Manson all season along with Landy, get 4 new players, then get everybody back and have a ridiculously stupid deep roster in the playoffs?

Drouin was forced into a one year contract so that'd be the worst case scenario. If he needs a surgery that'd require him to miss the rest of the season that's a tough decision to make.

Drouin is back after missing 2 days. Him and Manson were skating today.

Do we really need Manson skating updates when we know he has a wrist issue? Like no sh*t he's skating but not using his bad wrist.

He's been pulling our leg all along. The Avs are so cheap the trainers, scouts and Bednar all share a large office. They talk non-stop.

MacSakic may need to drop all pretense of playing by the Marquess of Queensberry Rules and go full "Vegas Does LTIR". Put Drouin, Wood, Manson, Landy in bubble wrap until April, bring in a few mercenary ringers to start Round 1, bring back Landeskog, Drouin, Wood, Manson, - hell, Peter Forsberg if his spleen will hold up - and push the rules to the outer limits.

At least with Manson we know it's a hand injury. I believe it was Peter McNab who said " When you break your hand you might as well break a foot too because they're going to skate you to death while injured".
As for JD, I have no idea what's wrong with him. He looks really good there and looked really good the game he got reinjured too. We have no reason to think it's concussion related, but that does seem to be how they're treating it.

I don't believe a thing Bednar says when it comes to injuries.
I do like listening to his post-game analysis/comments though.
