I don't get that impression at all. They didn't say an "indefinite amount of time" they just said it was going to be a while before he was back. That means there's a timeline, it's just not a good one.

Oh shoot, that's how much I know of the NBA lol. On Lonzo's stats, he played 14 minutes and had 5 points in his debut from injury. He was always the worst Ball if I remember correctly, so him playing 14 minutes is pretty normal for a bench player.

To me that's a very tangential data point that is discussed way too much. It's not the same exact injury and history, not the same exact procedure (done by another doctor?) and another individual with his specificities playing another sport.
