Glifford 20+ games in the SHL this year. First game video I've seen of him. Month old. He moves great in the crease for his size. Needs better control the rebounds though. Pad save at 4:40 was slick.

I believe that is 2 tier in Russia for their KHL youth teams:

MHL
VHL
KHL

Exactly... VHL would be second-tier, farm-clubs to the KHL.

KHL = NHL
VHL = AHL
MHL = Juniors

Juniors work differently in Russia, but those would be the different tiers.

I’m going to miss Knight and he’s going to be a star but at the end of the day, goalies are the most replaceable. You don’t need a superstar in net to win. You need a good team around a quality goaltender. Hopefully these Russians develop into something.
