In the future, Mackie will bring what Giroux brought after last year’s deadline. Minus the faceoffs. But that creative, playmaking, pacing and goal-scoring winger.

First regulation loss for Charlotte last night, Heponiemi with the lone goal, Sourdif with a helper, PP goes 0/4 in a 2-1 loss.
ALWGAP tonight, Denisenko gets his 1st goal of the year, just his 2nd point in 6 GP,
Sourdif with another assist, his 3rd straight game with a helper.
Ludvig and Heponiemi with an assist as well, Hutsko with his 3rd goal of the year in a 3-2 OT loss.
This brings them to a 4-1-1 start after 6 games, very similar to Florida.

As previously mentioned, Samoskevich (rd 1, #24 '21) had a game on Saturday night! He had two goals, and assisted on the overtime winner, as number one Michigan beat undefeated number 13 Penn State in overtime 4-3.
