People can't just mention Dom [Polish surname] doing weird stuff without elaborating or providing links/context.

EDIT - I guess I just needed to check the main forum.

Holy shit I just realized you're right about that being Polish. Welsh is the only other language that's just as unhinged and I could not love it more. "Lady Sunny" is of Polish heritage and thinks this is the greatest thing she's ever seen

We used to have Paul Szczechura about 15 years ago and, on a bit of a more dour note, I'm also remembering Polish doctor Zygmunt Klukowski who kept a diary that was cited frequently in a book talking about life in Poland during WWII. He lived in a town called Szczebrzeszyn.

I feel like there's two languages that abuse the letter Z. One is Polish, the other is Hungarian. I should know, my last name is Hungarian (but has no Z's). I can't explain being able to tell the two apart, it's just kind of a "know it when you see it". You're a Liverpool fan, right? I didn't need to have seen him play for Hungary in the Euros to know Dominik Szoboszlai was Hungarian. (He's also the only name in this post I didn't need to copy-and-paste into here, I actually memorized that spelling).

Another good one is Zenon Konopka

It's the same Dom guys. It's because of Dom we have the meme of TMFVR. He wanted to trade TJ for TMFVR and that's where that was born from. He also talked non stop up and down on how Dotchin was a legit #2 defenseman.
To be fair, I think he was literally 12 when he made the case for Dotchin.

I think he said he was 17. The only reason I'm buying this is because he would have these moments where he was as legitimately insightful as someone who had watched for 10 years when talking about other teams and their players. And then talking about the Lightning, he would go off and immediately remind you he's a kid over stuff like Dotchin or expounding on personal issues without coming up for air. It is still the craziest damn thing I've ever seen minus Matt Watson. If someone told me back then that he'd do this I would have believed it

The Dotchin thing might not have been when he was 12. But he did point back to some insane view he had, and he was 12 at the time he said it.
