Promoting Goncalves once he is healthy makes the most sense. He is going to be a headache to play against. A lot of guys with the Crunch can cook a little longer. We need turnover. But we need the guys we bring on to be ready

If we don't move anyone: 618,334(192/41)= $2,895,612.88

If we traded Sheary (and replaced him with a 800k player) at the TDL: $2,895,612.88 + (2,000,000-800,000)= $4,095,612.88

If we traded Sheary (and replaced him with a 800k player) today: $618,334 + (2,000,000-800,000) = $1,818,334, $1,818,334(184/41)= $8,160,328.20 + 618,334(8/41)= $120,650.54 $8,160,328.20 + $120,650.54 = $8,280,978.74
*184 because the season started 8 days ago

Just to do an update on this:

Cap space already accrued: 618,334(15/41)= $226,219.76 via first 15 days of season

If we don't move anyone (with Sheary waived): $1,768,334(177/41)= $7,634,027.27 + $226,219.76= $7,860,247.03 by the TDL

If we recall an $800k player (with Sheary waived): $968,334(177/41)= $4,180,368.73 + $226,219.76= $4,406,588.49 by the TDL

I don't know the Goncalves injury so not sure how much longer he is out but we can keep him off the roster till he's fully healthy. Run with just 12 forwards but go a lot of 11-7 games. Accrue as much extra cap we can till he's fit. Brown i haven't seen a timeline on and Fortier is out till December. There's really no rush in bringing someone up just to sit Raddysh or Lilleberg more.

I'm not suggesting we fire the entire coaching staff but so far we blew up the team and all we have to show for it is a PP switching Raddysh fot Kucherov in Stamkos' old spot with the most broken zone entry scheme in the league. And probably the worst PK and defensive structure to date in the Jon Cooper Era.

If this goes on another month or two, changes are going to need to be made
