While I think Miller is the odd ball out purely because of his willingness to waive, shorter term, and lower cap hit, there are some talking heads out there that think both could go. Essentially, if the locker room has factions, then what do the "followers" do when the one on their side gets moved. There's still resentment. It's just a mess.I think JT Miller is the odd ball out of the Vancouver fiasco.
All that to say is that I would be listening on Miller over Pettersson. Miller is a prick. Has a chance to go sideways but in the short-term, I think our locker room could benefit from a prick--someone who could drag the boys into the fight. Obviously equally likely that his attitude concerns don't translate well, but I'd take the risk depending on what the ask is.
