ESPN+ has most of the games, but I'm moving to Nashville and want to also watch Preds games so need Ballys. And NHL network has some and also WJC. If NHL Network was on more streaming services this would be much easier.
Directv Stream has NHL Network. It’s only on their higher tiers so I’ll just go to the higher tier for the WJCs and then bump it back down when the tourney is over.

I barely use it but in terms of how the app works, streaming quality, etc I’ve got no complaints. You can save a fair amount of content too and they have a big on demand library.

$130 a month to get the package that includes NHL network plus more to get their device on other TVs if their app is not available on your device (Isn't for my LG TVs). No premium movie channels either.

That's ridiculous. And that price appears to be with a 2-year contract, so you can't subscribe for hockey season and drop at that rate. Utterly ridiculous.

It’s this Ultimate package that I move up to.

Quickly looking at it, it looks like the 3 month thing is for new customers. I’ve never signed a contract ever but I’ve also had it for years now. Maybe the deal is different for new customers. Idk. I’m not seeing anything about 2 years.

I don't see it now either. It was $10 off a month for 24 months with contract. The $30 off for 3 months is there now for me too.

That $119.99 does not include taxes and fees. After 3 months it's $127 or so with taxes and fees. Hulu (sans NHl network but with Dusney Plus and ESPN+) is $89 plus taxes and fees permanently, so $30 less for 9 months of the year. It is ridiculously expensive to get NHL network.

Totally agree. It’s ridiculous. But I love the World Jrs so will pay for it, at least temporarily.

We also have the Hulu/ESPN+/Disney+ package but it’s bundled through Verizon for our cell phones.

This is exactly what I did last year. Be prepared to get bombarded with emails trying to get you to bump back up for at least 3 months afterwards.

Edit: I would love it if the NHL opted to put WJC on Victory+

I watched the WJC last year on fubo.tv, they had a sports package that included nhl network. UX/UI was pretty good and they had a good recording system for the early/late European start times. You can do a month-to-month sign up for them as a free first month.

You needed Ballys or ESPN+ for the rest of the games though?

It's going to be a luxury that all the Kraken games (except national broadcasts) are just free on Amazon Prime this year. They have John Forslund, Ed Olczyk (never getting over his shameful handling of Wakey Wakey, screw Olczyk) and Linda Cohn for some games.

For Blues you can still find streams

Yes, I used Hulu/espn + for most Blues games last year. Don’t think that would be included in fubo.tv but not 100% sure.

It wasn’t clear in my previous post, but you can sign up for a free 1 month trial of fubo.tv and give it a shot for zero dollars as long as you cancel before trial expires. That’s what I did during WJC time last year.

Unpopular opinion: Bally Sports is great for streaming out of market and I will miss them if the Blues switch to Victory+ next season. Tried watching on Victory+ and because I don't live in STL I can't watch, soooo back to pirating streams.

Bally allows me to watch out of market and ad-free replay of games is fantastic.

I think the biggest thing with Victory+ being local only is that it's a free service.

Oh boy guys we signed Alexandrov
League minimum and a 2 way deal that earns him $150k in the AHL. I think he's likely played himself out of future plans in St. Louis, but there is absolutely nothing to dislike about this deal. There is no team risk and he is an NHL/AHL tweener with some upside at a position of organizational weakness.

I don't trust Sunny to stay healthy for 75+ games this year and we are thin at center. Worst case scenario, this offers a warm body at center to prevent calling up a not-ready rookie if/when injuries hit.

Hell, even if it just provides an offensively productive player to play with Dvorsky or Dean, I'll take it.
