l’m not going to lie I wish I got to see the teams 2-6 play one another more often, closest trip is Moncton…
The trade off for having your team be an absolute juggernaut is watching a ton of stinkers every year.
I really miss having STU in the league.
I get to the SMU games and most of the DAL games. A couple of SMU games at ACA and SFX rounds out my viewing.

From a strictly hockey fan point of view , Halifax is the best place to live east of Montreal for viewing options .
UNB’s fanbase is as much a lack of options as it is the success of the program. I grew up going to Fredericton Canadiens games, the team left , I was a kid who was obsessed with hockey, dad started taking me to UNB games , here I am.

Good tilt tonight at SMU. As mentioned, Gentile did play. I spoke with him briefly after warm up and he said he's fine. Sumarah got the start for SMU and was decent, Robillard in for UPEI.

Fairly close checking game with Robillard making several good saves. UPEI closed within 1 goal in the 3rd with a 6 on 5 and some very nifty puck movement.

Looking at the box scores it appears to have been a bit of a shit show at SFX last night. Not sure if all the Majors were actually Majors. Most show as a 10 except to Stewart and Huskins.

Was at the SMU/ACA game last night. SMU didn't play very well overall and ACA did. SMU not good on D-zone coverage at times. On the ACA SH goal, Peyton went behind the net and both SMU defenders went to him, leaving Bell all alone in front. Nagy's goal came off of a big rebound by West and he was able to get a clean shot away and not get picked up. The other 2 goals were PP goals. Another box score issue - West got pulled after the Nagy goal making it 4-0, yet the goal is charged to Sumarah.

Speaking of, and I'm not being critical, but West gave up 6 vs UNB, Sumarah came in and pitched a SO. West gave up 6 in UdeM, gave up 4 last night and Sumarah was clean. West has had some very good games this year but his last 3 outings have been rough.

One bright spot is that SFX lost as well. SMU needs 2 wins and 1 SFX loss for 3rd place. The game 14 Feb may decide 3rd place.

Credit DAL for hanging with UdeM last night.

Was just typing the same thing. I assume this is some sort of Presto bug and all are actually straight 10 min misconducts with the exception of the Huckins - Stewart fight.

I noticed the box score didn’t credit Peer for an assist on McCallum’s goal…pretty sure he made the pass from behind the net that led to the goal.

I’m also a bit surprised SMU hasn’t given Sumarah more of a chance given West’s recent struggles.

EDIT - Looks like Peer has been given an assist now.

UNB / X box has now been updated. Only Huckins vs S-Stewart now show as fighting major + GM, all others are now 10 minute misconducts. Have to assume that all had to be sorted out and reported properly as both teams play again tonight

I wouldn't have judged Huckins-Stewart as fighting major. Neither dropped their gloves. Highly spirited wrestling match. Should have been double-minors for roughing in my book.

The incident before that, they announced 10-minute misconducts across the board. Surprised to see "fighting" in the online stats after the game.
