Myers deserves at least 3 games because he just crosschecked Bouchard in the face for no reason.

Garland was holding poor Connor down for 20-some seconds, and, therefore, had it coming. Connor only deserves a fine and the league should resend of the match penalty.

What's worse? That thread, or the fact there is a person that comments on the main board that has close to 200 comments that have both makar and hughes in the comment.

I'll be honest, I find it easy to let the chaos giraffe off the hook. This is a situation where eveyone is scrumming up and shananigans are happening all over the ice. Tyler was skating away from Bouchard and glided to a stop. Bouchard was continuing to skate towards Meyers. What is Meyers supposed to do...the play is dead and the guy keeps coming up on him. I have no problems with folks getting fed lumber in this situation. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Now if Bouchard had just been sitting there and Tyler came up and fed him that shit, it would be a different thing in my book and worthy of a lengthy ass suspension. But not for this.

Couldn't disagree more. Bouchard is skating towards Myers having one hand on his stick and the other hand having taken his mouthguard out. I think it's VERY obvious he was going to say something to Myers about the high hit he just threw on the boards rather than attacking him.

There was zero reason to cross check the guy in the face.

Both of them should get 5+ games for it. There is no room for that kinda shit.

You want to CC each other in the ribs or the back? Fine. Anything above the chest/neck should be an automatic ejection and suspension for several games.

I don't care if someone is annoying you and holding/hooking you for several seconds, or skating up to you during a scrum. It's bush league.
