Now days I'm all for it, in my twenties I probably would have missed a lot of games lol.

Speak for yourself. Not only are there no major sporting events on Fridays, there's nothing really on TV either. It'd be the easiest thing in the world to put on a couple games around that time.

You're basing that assumption off literally nothing, and it's wrong, especially since goalies have had their equipment heavily regulated and downsized in recent years.

Ok how bout this: look at Hellebuyck (exclude this season even tho it helps my case). Dudes been between .910 and .920 give or take for a decade now. Why aren’t his numbers down over that period? He got smaller equipment. Scoring is up significantly. You’re telling me the shooters have gotten better. They haven’t. The shooters are facing weaker competition more regularly in a watered down league (both goalies and overall talent pool they face defending them).

It's just ludicrous how long they will continue this Via Dolorosa. Yeah, the roster is bad but the team tuned out from the coach like a year ago. And the GM can't fire the coach because the coach is a personal friend of the owner.
