Now days I'm all for it, in my twenties I probably would have missed a lot of games lol.

Give me unhealthy food and a couch on Fridays now.

If the Avs suck Wolverine and Deadpool will just start earlier.

Speak for yourself. Not only are there no major sporting events on Fridays, there's nothing really on TV either. It'd be the easiest thing in the world to put on a couple games around that time.

Again, there's a reason for it.

You don't know that. CFB is all about Saturday, NFL is all about Sunday (and unfortunately, Monday and friggin' Thursdays now).

You're basing that assumption off literally nothing, and it's wrong, especially since goalies have had their equipment heavily regulated and downsized in recent years.

Ok how bout this: look at Hellebuyck (exclude this season even tho it helps my case). Dudes been between .910 and .920 give or take for a decade now. Why aren’t his numbers down over that period? He got smaller equipment. Scoring is up significantly. You’re telling me the shooters have gotten better. They haven’t. The shooters are facing weaker competition more regularly in a watered down league (both goalies and overall talent pool they face defending them).
