He’s better than Timmins and he is light years better than Benoit (not saying much because a wet dishrag is better than Benoit). That’s just Berube and the Leafs being stupid.

I’m not really pounding the table for him but I do believe he’d be a good fit in Bednar’s system. He’d do all the things they clearly want de Haan to do.

Something is not right in Vancouver and for some time. Shipping out Horvat was supposed to fix that dressing room. I think the leaders of that group are just shitty dudes. Winning helped for a bit or maybe Petey kept it together to secure that contract but ya something tells me a good shakeup is coming for them again.

The Marc-Andre Fleury love-in is bullshit. Penguins fans hated him for years because he was shit in the playoffs, and the only reason they won in 16 and 17 is because Matt Murray was there to save them. He had a mild renaissance in Las Vegas and over the past few years seems to have cultivated a reputation as a genuine modern day legend and guy everybody just loves. His soul pitch is shit as well.

Pettersson is the easiest thing to point out. But also laying a complete egg against the devils - a game I’m sure means a lot to their captain given his family on the opposing team.

Sure the D isn’t amazing but they have the norris winner and a good top pairing.
