If Vegas finds a way out of this but the Avs couldn't find a way out of Nichushkin's contract, this'll be one f***ed up league.
Why would Avs want to get rid of Nichuskin? Unless you want to close the Avs window. If Vegas finds a way out of this but the Avs couldn't find a way out of Nichushkin's contract, this'll be one f***ed up league.
You're cooked if you think this dope fiend can be trustedWhy would Avs want to get rid of Nichuskin? Unless you want to close the Avs window.
We have no choice. We have to accept Nuke coming back. He is under contract and Avs just can't get rid of him... just like that. You're cooked if you think this dope fiend can be trusted
Who is this bloke Don Sweeney? I heard him somewhere but sounds like he is from Boston or something.Spittin Chiclets got some more drama, this time by Don Sweeney lol.

He has really handed this poorly hasn't he. Great way to give Swayman leverage by trading away Ulmark. They do have Korpisalo, but let's say this extends to the season and Korpisalo/Bruins start poorly...I love stuff like that. Props to Sweeney.

Houston, Atlanta and Phoenix will eventually get a team.
Thanks. I hate it.
It probably won't be it long-term (talking 20-30 years), but in the shorter term, 36 is really the cap. Lots of places lining up to be 36 too. Some uber rich local in a market a bit too small is likely the mix.Houston, Atlanta and Phoenix will eventually get a team.
Then one "unknown" spot left after that to make it an even number and that will be it IMO.
He's going to make an excellent GM one day.
One would assume Kansas City. I know Quebec City wants a team, but I don't think the NHL has any interest in adding another Canadian team.Houston, Atlanta and Phoenix will eventually get a team.

Winnipeg's financial issues killed the Quebec hope. One would assume Kansas City. I know Quebec City wants a team, but I don't think the NHL has any interest in adding another Canadian team.

It isn't the league, it is the NHLPA. Any termination will end up with a grievance. Odds are that would happen with this case for Lehner too, though just not showing up for a physical is beyond stupid by Lehner.
League is gonna let them terminate his deal with zero financial penalties. Meanwhile, they won't let the Avs terminate a guy who's been in the PAP three times.
Milwaukee will have chatter, but would require Chicago giving up territory. Similar problem to GTA.Bring the 36th NHL team to Green Bay
