I love how all of these issues are lumped together.

No one is going to snatch up a woman and stone her to death for not wearing a face cover, or shoot your daughter because you educated her here.

People in North America have so little perspective on how truly bad normal life can be in the world.

Few people who shit on Western countries while living in them would survive a week in a third world country.
I have lived in said "third world" countries before. Believe it or not, those countries don't need to live the way liberal countries do. Worldviews are different for a reason.

Nobody denies there are extreme areas in the world, but those areas aren't the norm - they're the exception.

It's more normal than people here realize. Especially in places like the Middle East and Asia.

And I agree, there isn't one way that works for every culture. I definitely didn't spend my time in those places with a make them like us attitude, and I don't believe you can make hatred and bias that's existed for thousands of years evaporate.

It's just not how humans roll.

I'm great full my kids have the safe environment and opportunities they do here. The world can be a very brutal place.

Scoring goals is much harder and more valuable than turning up every night like Marleau did towards the end. They're not comparable at all.

Yeah, it's a lot more enjoyable when the team isn't garbage around him though too. I can't imagine Ovi's record is enough motivation alone for everyone involved over there lol.

Why is Vegas' hashtag "#VegasBorn". There are no native Vagans (I know that's not the word but f*** Vegas) on the team, in fact there are only two players from the USA, and they are both from Massachusetts. Most of their fans likely aren't born in Vegas either. Stupid f***s.
It’s meant as a play off of “Battle Born” the Nevada state motto. But personally I think it’s kinda lame.
