  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Everyone knows Wendy's is the way to go when it comes to readily available fast food. I'm talking places that are everywhere in the US and Canada and not limited to country/region.
Is Freddie’s not in the great white north yet? Because that’s a better answer. Five Guys too, but that’s not a late night place.

I used to reward myself with a Baconator after getting 90% on a test, so I agree lol.

Nope, no Freddie's that I know of. Five Guys is good though, I do enjoy that for milkshakes.

We actually just got Chick-fil-a out West here this past summer so that's how far behind the times we are. Only been there once and got the Spicy Chicken Deluxe, which was pretty good.

Never heard of it, and Ive lived in WA, CA, KS, CO, NC, FL, and MI lol.

Yeah.. I'm pretty sure those cost years/per order lol.
Amazing given how prevalent they are now and are from Kansas.

Though Culver's is also a gem that I'd have above Freddie's... and surely there are a million of those around you.

I wasn't in KS for that long, and worked 6 days a week in 2007. So that would make sense.

Yeah Culver's is definitely all around here. It was a common early evening stop working overnight in EMS.

Freddy's is fantastic. Shake Shack is also good.

I grew up in Nebraska, and, IMO, nobody compares to Runza when it comes to Burgers and Fries. Not to mention their Runza's are ridiculous.
Shake Shack is the GOAT. There is nothing fast food wise (and arguably in general) that touches them on burgers. They are just not widely available.

Runza is a gem... and you can include the chili and cinnamon roll combo in there too.

I don't see the correlation between cumin and chili powder spiced beef, beans, tomatoes and lettuce, and colon cancer. LOL. Might want to check and see what's actually in a McDonald's/Wendy's/Burger King/etc. "Beef" patty.
I'm pretty sure all of the places have their role in colon cancer.

Not only do we not get most good American fast food franchises in Canada, when we DO get them they tend to close at like 9:00pm or 10:00pm. So any late-night snacking is again restricted to the usual McDonalds/Wendys/Taco Bell locations.

We're down to one Five Guys here, lots of Freddy's, obviously can get Wendy's/Arby's/McDonalds anytime I want, Taco Bell is actually not very ubiquitous because we have Amigos. We have a gourmet burger chain called Honest Abe's that rolls out rotating burgers with all kinda of crazy stuff on them, I'm a semi-regular customer there. If I had a go-to burger though it's probably the Big Bacon Classic at Wendy's.

People are sooooo crazy about Chick-Fil-A here and I just don't understand why. Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich is vastly superior.

Idk, Culver’s is unreal as well. Probably not a better burger than Shake Shack(but close I would say), but Shake Shack fries are not good and Culver’s curds are decent and their onion rings are super good.

I'm just waiting for the day a fast food burger chain becomes halal here since that's all I can eat.

I already get a ton of chicken options that are halal with Popeyes, Church's, and Mary Browns (KFC joining soon, too) but no burger chains except for local, gourmet options.

Yea the Five Guys bacon cheeseburger is in its own tier at the top and no one can touch that.

I'm not even a Taco Bell fan, but this is a poor trade. Now Taco John's > both.

My own ignorance and curiosity here... what's the issue with burgers and halal? Is it the butchering of the meat?

This is a man that has not had Shake Shack.
