Is it weird? Their biggest issue roster wise was a total lack of talent at the C position. Then they went out this offseason and added even more wingers. The talent in a vacuum increased but their roster composition is still pretty lackluster.
Nashville is also very old. Only one guy in their top 6 is under 30 (Smith and he isn't any good). They are doing a lot of rotations on defense, but their top 2 guys are over 30. Schenn is getting way more minutes than he should. They don't have young legs and are trying to play with tempo on them.
I thought they will be so bad in 2-3 years. Maybe they already are.. odds are they will find their groove and still make the playoffs though.
Maybe so, haven't been listeling to the talking heada. Personally I don't think so.
