Did we ever get clarification on what his injury is? Or are they Avalanching it?

Nope, and even the 24/7 diehard Leafs media were unable to figure it out.

He is kept completely out of sight when he’s injured. Separate entrances/exits at Scotiabank Arena, tinted windows cars and drivers, private jets to Germany, etc.

Nobody even knows what he was injured with in last year’s playoffs, nevermind the one earlier this season.

They’re not like that with any other player on the roster.

Must be something that could hinder his career in a major way

What was the trade? Or where was this said?

TSN’s Pierre LeBrun believes a trade by the Canucks could be imminent. LeBrun cited league sources saying the Canucks are in the market for a top-four defenseman.
Also that TSN video earlier exposing the rift between Miller and EP, that was a weird timing wasn't it?

The more we hear about stuff, the more the Friedman trade "suggestion" sounds like he wasn't spitballing all that much.

If there's a single GM in that league who'd have the balls to trade a guy like EP without thinking twice it's the Canucks one.

I heard from a source that he had a bunch of frequent flyer miles expiring, so he used them for a trip to Munich. I don't know where he is flying off to this time.

Hughes knows the Canucks likely lose any trade involving Miller/Pettersson and that makes the team worse. Obviously he'd want to fix it.

They already lost Horvat for scraps and fortunately used the 1st to acquire Hronek. Might not be so lucky again.
If they trade EP40 for Cozens and Byram, the Canucks become better as a team right now. In the future, that's harder to answer. If Petey finds it again, then it's an obvious loss.

Dylan Cozens is an abhorrent hockey player. Bo Byram is a 2nd pairing defenseman.

Pettersson still had 89 in 82 last season and is on pace for 67 in a "bad" year.

The Canucks do not become better.

EP is the player you think Cozens is.

Whether he's puting or he's injured we don't know, but you're clearly getting fooled by the score sheet here. If he plays in Buffalo like he plays in Vancouver he's not going to be a 67 point player anymore.
