Which is odd because he was in our system last season (I just looked it up.) Just seems like its been AGES since anyone has mentioned in him in any significant way that I can remember.
This is the first I remember hearing about him. But I'm not the guy you come to when you want to discuss prospect depth.

You'd think someone who's spent this much time on Hockey's Future, as well as Elite Prospects, would be a little better with such things, but, no.

Ryan Stoa is still in the system, right?

Sabres owner flew to Montreal yesterday to meet with the boys, who lost 10 in a row, just to tell them to man up and not expect a trade.

Team response: trailing 2-0 in the first against the Habs, shots are 10-3 Habs.

Can't make that shit up
Players throwing in the towel

Did not know that. Yikes.

BUF has some pieces but nothing gels.

P.S. Holy shit great assist by the ref on the 1st Habs goal!

Nope. But rumor has it Denis Parshin is ready to swim across the ocean if we hire Iron Mike Keenan as our coach.

Brutal sequence of unforced penalties by BUF: slashing the stick, high stick, delay of game. None of them were to prevent scoring chances.

Some team is gonna buy low on Cozens and it's going to turn into another Eichel/Reinhart loss for the Sabres

He's going to f*** up that Habs draft pick.😂
He can't skate and has no center to play with at 5v5...all he can do is one time the puck on the PP. But damn, that shot is lethal.

All 3 goals tonight are identical

Yeah he's not going to score 50 but if he pots 25-30 that might mean 3-4-5 "costly" extra wins for the Habs.

Tonight's is a very good night even for him. He was dialed in with the 1-timer.

Who knows, but Reinhart was at least consistent in Buffalo and everyone knew Eichel was great - he just needed surgery.

I don't see it with Cozens. I see a less skilled version of Matt Duchene, a guy who is CONSTANTLY trying to dangle players and it doesn't matter where he is on the ice - defensive zone, neutral zone, entering the zone, he's trying to dangle and make junior moves.

That's one guy if I'm Buffalo I'm trying desperately to convince some team to take off my hands.

I don’t think I’ve seen a player in the NHL worse at defending the front of the net than Owen Power. It’s absolutely mind boggling how he can leave guys so wide open, shooting lanes free and clear, and then somehow also screen his own goalie on occasion.

Byram is not the problem with Buffalo. That team's culture and fundamentals are f***ed, and the other defenseman aside from Dahlin are sieve prone.

Power skating back for the puck tips it back into the slot for the gong show first goal.

Clifton leaving the entire right side of the ice with Laine wide open on the PK for the second goal.

Jokiharju with a soft as butter battle for a loose puck, and then McLeod skating circles around the goal scorer without touching him for the third goal.

Samuelsson pretending to dive to block the one timer, but slowly sliding away from the puck, and then Power screening his own goalie on the fourth goal.

Clifton with no interest whatsoever blocking the shot on the PK for the fifth goal in the video above. He keeps looking over and knows it's coming, but just slowly moves over and seems to intentionally let it get through.

Power with dog shit defense can't stop a backdoor pass that goes right at him for the sixth goal.

Rags' ownership can't keep Drury at this point, right?

Ownership is more responsible for this than Drury. Again, Drury only has the job because the last guy wouldn’t do what the owner said after Tom Wilson beat up Artemi Panarin.

So…yeah, fire Drury for all the good it’s going to do. Laviolette should probably go too.

Watch them get Quenneville.

That's not how I remember it.

Gorton and Davidson were basically fired by Bettman. As soon as they got fired the NYR owner got a 250k fine...I don't think keeping Gorton/Davidson was even on the table when Bettman called Dolan after the public statement against Parros.

That's completely and totally not true, I have no idea where in hell you got that idea.

Davidson and Gorton had nothing to do with that statement.

The Rangers publicly claimed the statement and the resulting fallout had nothing to do with both of them being fired, but anyone with half a brain knows that's bullshit.

Not a coincidence that the Rangers tried to go Full Thug after that once Drury took over, and like most teams who try that, it was a miserable failure. Ryan Reaves didn't do anything of consequence, and Sammy Blais barely played for them.
