Old habits die hard

He also scored an empty netter...

There is still a good chance we face Winnipeg again in the first round. Dallas is only 6 points behind Winnipeg with a game in hand. And they play on Friday.
Jets don’t lose though. They’re keep winning. They gonna cruise through regular season, win the presidents trophy and lose in the 1st round whoever they play. It always happens

Dump and Chase Sacco. He told EJ to just chip the puck in years ago.
This is why the stuff Kyle Quincey said on the way out doesn’t faze me. Both EJ and Duchene torched Sacco afterward as well.

If Boston is just gonna tank it they may as well just keep him.

I usually refrain from wishing for a specific team in the playoffs but in this case I would prefer to play Dallas in the 1st round if Heiskanen is still hurt.

I 100% agree with this. There is no "easy" path in playoffs. If you sweep someone youre just that much better than everyone else at that year or got really lucky or both.

If you lose 4-2 you werent gonna win anyway.

Looking at any of the teams except Vancouver&Minny there is no teams with adversity to face and you cant face either of them.

So lets man the f up and beat everyone they face since thats how Central is.

Avs have the pieces in place and are healthy at the moment before playoffs first time since the cup so Im confident they can do it.

Really the main thing I wish for this year's playoffs is for the team to finally be healthy and Landy to be able to play. This team deserves to get a proper shot at it after all the injuries they have had the past few years including Nuke's sideshow. I also think Nelson deserves it as well with the career he has had on the shitty teams he played for.

Bold prediction from my side:

There wont be Dallas-Colorado in Round 1.... :D

Dallas will try everything to avoid this with Heiskanen, maybe, not ready to go or not on his usual level. They will prefer facing one of Minny, Vancouver, Calgary or even Utah/Blues in Round 1. And every team prefers Home-ice during the playoffs....

Speaking of the wild card teams mentioned above: "Its gonna be a waste of 8 days".

If you have to face Dallas, then do it on the first round when they don't have Heiskanen. Either way, there's no easy path to glory this season. Bring it on..

WPG does have the toughest schedule remaining of the Central teams. I just don't know if Dallas has enough runway to catch up with them.

I want Dallas in round 1, not round 2. That demon needs to be exercised immediatly. Plus even if Hieskanen comes back, their defense is a big weakness this year and I can only imagine the Avs core would have some extra juice going against Mikko.

Thats why i am pretty sure Dallas will do anything to avoid this 1st round-matchup with Heiskanen´s Status still in limbo...

But i am confident this AVS-Team, as long as we can avoid major injuries and stay healthy, can go all the way.

This year could, or will be, the last year we will be able to ice such a team for the playoffs.
