Jets are annoying regular season try hards. I don't think they have another level to go to in the post-season but by all accounts they were supposed to be past their window because they waited too long to "go for it".

I don’t really agree with that sentiment and I’m Canadian. It sucks but politics and sport should not be a thing imo. I’m in the camp that wants Russia participation in national events too, even if they rename the squads. It’s not the athletes that should pay the price.

In other news, Mikko gets pinned by one guy on the boards in the Ozone. Canes lose it, goes the other way, and LA scores.

Mikko being amazing on the boards because he's big is a myth. Instead of continuing to move, he stops moving his feet. Puck goes the other way.

Ah man... I remember this differently. As we were freaking sucking, they were chasing (and winning) cups, but the games between our teams I remember being fun. For whatever reason against us, we could get them to open up and play firewagon hockey. We had a lot of really high scoring, no defense allowed games.

No, you remember it the same. We beat them way more than we should have when we sucked. Not like every time, but we'd split or even win the season head to head at times.
