Lukes will be the 1st to go whether it's KK or Bo back but when the other comes back there will be a decision to make. I expect Davis Schneider will be sent down until rosters expand in a couple weeks.
 
Shulman was talking about the Jays choosing to call up Danner instead of Pearson the other day. But was Pearson even eligible to call up the other day? He was sent to Buffalo on August 2, so wasn't today (August 12) the first day he could be called back up?

Correct.

You can be called up if someone goes on the IL before the 10 day period is up but didn't apply here.

Two runs are scoring on that no matter what. When the ball gets caught up in a corner like that it forces it’s automatic. Judge was slow sure… but even if he rushed over. Both guys score with no problem

The fielder has to dig it out, make a hard good throw and by the time it gets back the runner is around to score. People are going to look at how he went after it but no way he’s preventing anything

The very minimum he’s making a play at the plate. But even then who knows

The bigger issue is the Yankees have zero pitching outside of Cole. Their rotation is trash, there is trash, they have old, past their prime hitters. The team sucks

I was wondering if he's taking it easy due to his toe injury. Jays play the Yanks two series late in the season. If he's far from 100% I wonder if they shut him down soon.

I don’t know about his injury, but my own judgement on the play is 2 runs are scoring no mattter how fast he gets to the ball.
 
I was sitting 3 rows from the infield today and it’s amazing the bat speed of some of these guys. Springer has one of the quickest bat to ball contact I’ve ever seen. Varsho if he ever got his mechanics together is a close second.

Varsho has major power in his bat but his swing/mechanics whatever it is prefents him from making contact a lot of the time. He could be a doubles machine if he ever figured it out

This was from a few days ago regarding Varsho. He has been hitting high fastballs better recently.

That’s off the table and that’s an old narrative you can move off of. They only thing I think this management group has been terrible at is picking a manager for the team. I get Schneider earned his chance but man they haven’t had a good manager since Gibby and that was a long time ago

Jays need to be what ..at 90 games minimum for the last wild card? Seems pretty doable at this point but it'd be really nice if they went on a great run and moved up.

There hitting has been so weird this year. Can barely hit for 3 game and leave RISP and then get 11 or 15 runs in one game. Frustrating.
 
To me, the Jays look more dangerous with Springer in the clean up spot. We’ve lacked muscle 3-4-5 at times this year. So Merrifield and Belt up top makes a lot of sense even when Bo is back. Then you have all the power guys 3-8.

We’ll see.. I don’t like to judge before the investigation is over, I will mention though there are some comments about her being a lot older than 14 and she has a child. Dominican have a lot of scammers. They may just trying to hustle him for money. But who knows, obviously if it is true IMO he should be banned from the league. You can’t have people like him representing a professional sports league
