Jays have a higher slugging % than the O's.This team just doesn’t matchup well against the East. They don’t have enough power in the lineup. This was a concern after last offseason.
It depends on who he is facing. He struggles against the lefties. The O's aren't a good matchup for him.I don’t feel comfortable with Bassitt starting in the playoffs.
I thought it was Bob Gibson the way the Jays are hitting. I'm confused now.Kyle Gibson though? Man Jays hitting is a mess.
I’m curious, how do you show passion while playing baseball and how can fans tell?If the Jays make the playoffs and meet the Orioles....they are getting swept.
The issue at play is the Jays play with zero sense of urgency, and with no passion. Almost like trading the fun and getting a more serious clubhouse was a massive mistake.
"You can't win them all. There's always tomorrow".
EDIT: And this was the first time I have expressed any frustration with the team. But there is something seriously wrong when they essentially roll over and throw in the towel shortly after the game starts.
You can thank me later if they win. lol
By .001.Jays have a higher slugging % than the O's.
Definitely and that’s their problem with the bats, RISPBy .001.
And that’s nullified by their abysmal RISP stats.
Maybe Baltimore just has better players and the Jays can try harder all they want and it won’t matter. If the Jays make the playoffs and meet the Orioles....they are getting swept.
