0-7 against the Red Sox this season so far is unacceptable. We’re close to a playoff berth this year and we will miss out due to the divisional games. The brand of baseball the Jays have played this season for the most part has been a chore to watch. With that said, I’ll continue to watch and have hope, but yeah, it’s not been an entertaining season

Missed todays game... sounds like more frustration.. add to the fact i have red sox fans for friends..
 
It’s ok, we’ll win against the White Sox, they don’t play in the AL East. But this offence, again, only 6 hits in this game. Sure, in this series they scored over 4 runs per game, but the runs are being produced by a few players having big nights…the rest of the team produced squat in crunch time when a big hit was needed.
 
Might as well hang up the gloves, as even if they do make the wild card, they will almost 100% have to play an AL East team in it.

They are pretenders this year for sure. It’ll be a quick exit again from the wild card if we get in

Terrible terrible move and way too soon. This screams desperation. I guess they are hoping he does well against bad teams. He shouldn't have been back until after the all start break at the earliest and even then. He got destroyed against kids and then had a decent outing in AA and all is better?
 
It does scream desperation, they wrecked their bullpen in the month he was gone because they had zero serviceable starting pitching depth in the minors.

But Bowden Francis seemed pretty serviceable… they just for whatever reason chose not to go that route.

Was gonna say the same. It’s weird they didn’t go one more time through with Francis and Richards as back up then go into the break.
