Lol no shot they're going 54-34 rest of the way.I still think they’ll win 88-92 games unless they decide to trade Chapman and couple of others.
Yep 92 required a lot going right and was always going to be tough.Lol no shot they're going 54-34 rest of the way.
Vladdy hasn't had an extra base hit in 12 games, and he has 3 extra base hits in all of June.
It's June 19th.
He's had one home run off a real pitcher in 6 weeks.
He has 9 homers all year, 8 real ones.
I don't care that he's hitting singles. singles are garbage for a player of his supposed caliber.
Playoffs?!? Lol.We are not changing managers. Let's get that out of the way. We are going to try and make the playoffs... We will have a starter and at least one new bullpen piece in July. Less certain on a trade for a bat.. I'd say there will be a platoon move of sorts... Look at what Steve Pierce did for the Sox in 18.
Not lately bud..316/.389/.534... a .924 OBP and 158 wRC+ is decent, I guess.
It already has. What is Vladdy worth if traded, you wouldn't want his value to drop any more
Do they really listen to what hitting coaches have to say?Not much they can do to shake things up other than changing batting coaches.
Rough year.
Yes, let's judge on small sample sizes to prove our flawed theories. Not lately bud.
At what point do we lay the blame on the players not performing? Manoah went from a Cy Young finalist to Rookie ball while our MVP candidate is on pace for what, about 20 HR? When your 2 best players on paper aren't performing you are obviously not going to win a lot of games.
Hitting coach is first on the list I would say. Offense has been underperforming.
Schneider had a great record when he took over. Castillo had one of the best pitching performances in game 1. Schneider screwed up in game two but that’s one game. I really don’t think he’s the issue.
It’s the bats and lack of pitching depth that’s killing the team now. Neither are his fault.
At the rate he's been performing in the past 6 weeks he might be lucky to finish with 15. Maybe more if a position player pitches to himAt what point do we lay the blame on the players not performing?
