Honestly the plan going forward until they show different is Jansen catches Berrios and Kikuchi. Kirk slots in at DH (or takes a seat if he needs a day off)

Both guys look noticably better with Jano directing traffic.

I haven't looked at the roster yet to figure out # assignments, but it felt like 42 was always involved in all the highlight reel plays. He had a good game so the gatorade shower is well-deserved.

Even better, the Giants are planning on moving him to the bullpen after he got kinda smacked in his last start against the Dodgers.

Only plus side is we all know how valuable Stripling can be as a swingman so hopefully he figures it out.

It was also always kind of a weird signing by the Giants, doubly so when they decided to bring in Sean Manaea. That gave them 6 starters between those two, Cobb, Webb, Wood and DeSclafani

Only the 4th time that he has completed 6 innings in a start for the Jays.
