I said they had a chance. And they did at the time because the Jays were only six games up on them with six games to play against them.

I've criticized Schneider a lot but to be fair to him game 2 last year was mostly on the GM for not getting the needed bullpen help. I know Bass had good numbers in Florida but we knew him and we knew he was not what the Jays needed. Jays need good fastballs in the bull pen.

So it was a very, very minimal chance. Probably even less than the odds of Tampa coming back to win this… which you guaranteed would happen.

well that was a good game. a little worried there for a minute, but hey when you got extra runs to spare, then got some right back it was a good effort.

Seattle just needs to lose.

And yeah. I pulled a Shaner and overreacted guaranteeing that. Lol. But would it have really been surprising if they did?

As inconsistent as this team has been I would still be flabbergasted if they lost after leading 8-0 through 5 innings. If it was 7 through 4, maybe I’d be worried…

The number of times you brought it up sure made it sound like you thought it was a legitimate possibility that Jays fans should be worried about rather than something with a 0.1% chance of happening.
