Vladdy and the Jays season in a nutshell right there.

Poor approach with RISP.

Tries to do too much with a hittable pitch then swings at a high pitch and pops it up.

Fire the damn hitting coach.
 
Jays really getting owned by Ramon Laureano this season. :facepalm:

Also laughable that the Guardians do what the Jays couldn’t do last inning. Imagine hitting with RISP, what a concept lol.
 
Losing 2/3 from Cleveland just shows you this team is not a playoff team. We needed this group to go on a run and they never are capable of doing it

There should be no defense of Atkins after this season if they miss.

This is completely his roster. His players, his coaches, his lineup. This is the way he wanted to build his team.

And it’s boring unwatchable baseball. Low scoring team with little power that relies on pitching, but doesn’t have the speed or contact ability to manufacture runs.

“But the players let him down.” These are the players that he wanted. He’s had 5+ years to shape this roster into what he wants. This is the result.

Someone said when he got hired that what did he ever do in Cleveland? Nothing! He comes here with 10X the payroll and we’re just like Cleveland…. Can’t hit. Rely on pitching and we have zero speed

Not even as good as Cleveland was. At least those teams could hit with RISP.

He’s turned a promising offensive group into a discount version of the old Cleveland team.

I don’t think he should be back even if the were to make the playoffs.

All we heard was how good the farm system was when they arrived but I don’t see a lot of talent? Bo is a terrific hitter, but he’s not a super star.

But seriously, that Varsho hit may have saved the season. At least for now.
