might not be on day one, but i think he will benefit from a fresh start and end up finding his way in buffalo. makes sense for minnesota too given their upcoming cap crunch.

Yeah great bit of work by Minny, and it doesn't really hurt Buffalo given howmuch cap they have unused, I just think it's inefficient.

Still a better deal than Jeannot, though.

I get it, but you should be in win now mode and just find a hockey trade or something, even minor upgrade. That center depth is awful considering theyre a contending team.

I think they just really wanted Meier, tbh.

Would have liked a defensive piece if one was cheap enough, but I'm happy enough with Smith/Bahl coming off the bench for injury or Luke being horrible. No need to make a bad deal to make one.
