Especially when there are several other prospect d-men who are further along their development curve and should get NHL time to show what they can do. At the end of the day - unless KK looks amazing in pre-season and shows he's able to compete physically - at most he should get 9 games and then go back to the Dub to dominate and develop.This camp was just a snapshot to see where the players may be. They are not finished products. None of them are. KK probably needs another year in Seattle and a year or two in Rockford unless he all the sudden gets it. No need to hurry him of judge him 12 months into his career.
Just IMO - there is a fundamental difference between not liking a particular draft pick because there were more well regarded prospects available at that pick, and calling a guy a bust at 19YO.So when somebody here was calling Allen a bust right after he was drafted, many here were agreeing with him.
But now calling a 19 year old a bust is wrong?
