Transfer: 2023 Summer Transfer Window - Open Window Edition

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

How many good ones?
And I believe Arsenal has 2 right footed CBs. In fact, I think Arsenal's best two CB are right footed.
Good enough to not have to buy a 3rd one.

Timber will probably play as an inverted RB anyways.

Two.

Arsenal does have two right footed CBs, but if you think Holding is one of Arsenal's best two CBs, that's certainly unique.

I think teams can be perfectly competitive without paying such absurd wages. They maybe just need to broaden their range of targets during transfer windows.
250K a week is pretty much the standard now among top teams, not including bonuses. IIRC, that is now pretty much the base salary United will offer top players. Rashford's new contract will extend beyond that because he's proven his worth.

WE HAVE NO MONEY

Jesus christ. Can Man United really not attract players without paying such absurd wages?
I mean what else do we have to offer at this point?

“Would you like to finish 3rd one season than 7th the next?”

”What about playing 5 CL games every 2nd or 3rd season?”

”What about falling into the Europa league only not to win it?”

“You get to play for a team that‘s hanging on to its success from 15 years ago!”

”At least you get to live an average city in England.“

Reactions: Tasty Biscuits

Anyone on this board have a strong Veiga opinion?

He's great at dribbling through the lines. World class at it. This will sound like nitpicking because he had 11 goals but his finishing still needs some polish.

Let's put it this way if someone told me I could swap Mount for him I would do it instantly. He plays like Stevie G

Does he play through the middle exclusively? Or would he be able to play a wide midfielder that comes in?

Just trying to imagine the balance in a 4 atb with Caicedo and Enzo being deeper.

And Nkunku + one of the wingers. If it’s exclusive through the middle, then I would imagine Nkunku would start wider?

So Saliba and White aren't good enough to not spend 50M on a right footed CB?

So Gabriel and Kiwior on one side and Saliba, White and Holding on the other.
And yet it's somehow smart to buy a right footed one. :dunno:
Timber will probably play as inverted RB. As mentioned already.
