This has been a really weird recruiting summer though. LFC improved the midfield on paper but I hate the mix and I don’t really understand the strategy. The lack of leadership at the top is hurting.

Depends who you're buying the DM/CB from... by "legit" I didn't necessarily mean a finished product in their prime. Plenty of CB options out there, though DM may be harder.

CBs - Lukeba went for 30M, Pau Torres for 33M, Timber for 40M, etc.

I’d get kvara tbh but that’s gonna cost you close to 200. And he’s not leaving until the summer.
