We watched Edmunds for years and it was all about his length and wingspan and problems he could cause in coverage. He never made the play Campbell just made in his first game. Or filled a lane correctly. But them measurables.

If the Chiefs score here this punt will be a talking point. If they don't then it just becomes another forgotten punt...

So they always tell you to look back for the ball. How are you supposed to both look back for the ball and not run into the slowing receiver? I hate that call.

LOL @ Sutton arguing that PI call. Shoved the WR early AND had the reach-around tug of the arm. Super easy PI call there even for the blindest of refs.
I didn't see the tug on the arm.

Edit: watched it again and there's contact there when he bumps into him, but I don't see a tug. I thought he got his head around to the ball in time.

Nice of the coverage to point out that the RT is not only moving early but lining up illegally. Yet he has been flagged all of 0 times.

Terry McAulay when talking about whether Taylor is lining up legally: "To be honest we've watched him the whole game and he's not remotely close"

I remember when the Bills would randomly get called for an illegal formation once or twice a game in a completely game altering moment, I'll never understand NFL reffing (my god it's only game 1 and I'm already talking about the refs)

I remember Taylor doing the early jump start all game during the Jags debacle a couple years back without ever getting flagged and they called a false start on a Bill for a miniscule flinch to kill a possible 4th down attempt. But the lining up massively off the line, leaving early, and constantly holding is insane when taken all together.

KC has 90 yards rushing, half of which is Mahomes.

Why isn't the narrative "Chiefs can't run the football"?

Reid taking the ball out of Mahomes hands on a crucial 3rd down is some galaxy brain thinking

Detroit needs (at least) 3 points more than they needed to keep the clock running on that particular play...and I HATE the run call on 3rd.

And now the clock is the enemy of the Lions. That's why the yardage was more important on that 2nd down play. You needed points on that possession.

Welp. We all know what's gonna happen now

Oh my God Goff had the entire left side of the field open to scramble for the first if he didn't have cinderblocks for feet

Oh my god that almost when through the Lions player's hands right to Moore

Interesting call to go for this with 3 timeouts and the two minute warning on 4th and 20.
