He's the prime candidate to be traded either before the deadline or in the off-season if you were to ask me. And it doesn't seem like Bloom has been in a rush to extend him.

Yes. We were told there is no reason to sign a legit First Baseman for a couple of seasons. Casas is coming.

Yes, we were. And that he'd bring "intangibles". So far, it's quite the opposite. I didn't expect him to be a .500+ slugger, because I thought he was going to be fundamentally sound on everything else, which would be fine even for a 1B.
