Sorry not sorry, I cant take angry Kermit The Frog seriously. Between the voice and his Great Gazoo sized helmet he just appears childish (I know all players complain). That and the predictable temper tantrum every time a call goes against them.

Maybe go chew out your WR for lining up nearly a foot offsides. It's not hard to look down the line and see if you're ahead of the football or not
I'll cut Mahomes some slack, as a Heat of the Moment thing. I think that after he's seen the egregious offside and pondered his reaction/comments pertaining to it, I think he knows he messed up.

The odd part to me is this expectation that Officials need to give players a warning if they are lined up incorrectly. I never realized that was in an NFL refs job requirement. Also, this issue with the penalty negating a big play is baffling as well. The flag was thrown when the ball was snapped. What did he expect? The refs picking up the flag because it was a big play?

NFL refs cant win. They miss a call, and they get crucified........Make a correct call, and they get crucified. Its getting to be as bad as the NHL and their fans/media.

if we're being fair though, Toney should've learned how to line up in pop warner
The Giants cut him for a reason......Yes, the Giants. That team that is loaded at WR....LOL.

They have only themselves to blame in this case because they've muddied the waters by offering warnings at times instead of just making the objective calls 100% of the time..

No they havent.

When a receiver split wide looks over and asks theyll answer. Toney was in the slot and never checked.

They actually film the games now. It's pretty cool. He didn't check.
Because he wasn't the outside receiver. The outside wr checks with the side judge for him and any other receivers or TEs on his side and HE relays it. They are too far away from the side judge to do so.

I hope they got Toney an eye test today, because he wasn't even close to being onside. Blaming the refs is pathetic. Mahomes made a fool out of himself.

So it's Kelce's fault. Got it.
Nope. Strong disagree.

As is usually the case here when someone jumps in in the middle of a discussion between 2 other posters, the original argument gets lost. I stated that the officials need to accept some blame for muddying the waters.

They help some but only if you ask....supposedly. They are inconsistent when they do call it. They're inconsistent when they don't call it.

Consistency is key.

I've never seen a bigger temper tantrum over an objective correct call.

With that defense and cap room, pats could sign cousins and tee higgins, draft Harrison Jr, and make a run next year. I wouldn't touch either of those "top" QBs.
