Dan Orlovsky November 28
'The ESPN pundit took to Twitter to discuss just how bad the Patriots offence was, listing poor play design, poor timing, poor spacing, poor details and execution, and poor rhythm, adding that several guys are doing “different things” consistently and that there is very little “why” to doing things.
Orlovsky deemed it as bad as it can get at the NFL level, and that comes from a guy who’s been there and done that. Of course, Jones has been the fall guy more often than not, and we have to admit that he hasn’t done a lot to help his case. Then again, it’s not like he was put in a position to succeed at all. If anything, the Patriots set him up to fail from the very beginning, surrounding him with wide receivers who cannot create any sort of separation and a subpar offensive line. Jones’ future with the team is murky at best, and he might not get another shot in the league, but he’s definitely not the one to blame for this mess.'
World's worst GM built this roster and years in the making. Belichick coaching tree is a complicated tree, many branches. No soft landing this time around, bye.
