Hope they win tomorrow night to at least put some pressure back on Miami.
And frankly the product just isn’t great.I want them to win but I just can’t watch live. It’s so hard not to get wrapped up in everything and then realize you’ll be disappointed at the end of the night.

I follow along on twitter and will watch highlights. If it gets to game 7 and then the finals I will watch.Yeah, I've only actually physically watched about 6 minutes of live playoff basketball (the last couple minutes of regulation of that Celtics-Sixers game that went to OT). Otherwise I just google the score every 20 minutes or so. And sometimes watch youtube highlights later.
If they make the finals or even force a game 7 here I'll sit down and watch, otherwise I'm not big enough of a basketball guy to disrupt my daily life just to watch. I like the Celtics, I care more about this than I would, say, the Revs or college football, but it doesn't hook me like hockey or baseball do, or even the Pats enough to be able to dedicate weeknights or weekend days to watching it.
Watching the pro game now makes me miss the mid 80's through 1995. I watched basketball like I watch hockey now.And frankly the product just isn’t great.
I really want to like it. I got more into basketball coaching the past few school years, but the pro game is a difficult watch sometimes.
The product (the NBA) is so different than any other sport. Players run the sport in the NBA. I used to say only to watch the last 3 minutes of any game. But it is what it is, and if you want to be a fan of a team, you must accept it is like nothing else, no other professional sport. Imagine a player plays poorly in the playoffs but gets the coach fired after the series, and then he says he is leaving for another team. You don't have to imagine; look at the 76ers.And frankly, the product just isn’t great.

I want them to make the improbable happen but out of self preservation I will follow along on social media and may turn on Max and Grande but will not watch live. The DVR is set for tomorrow and if they win, I'll go back and watch it. if they lose, it gets deleted. The product (the NBA) is so different than any other sport. Players run the sport in the NBA. As a fan, you get sucked in, and with that comes frustration.
I will watch the quitters play game five and hopefully 6 and 7. No other NBA team has returned from being down 0-3; history could be made by at team that quit on themselves, the team, the NBA, and their fans.
The NBA has become way to soft. Refs call fouls that shouldn’t be called. No low post game anymore. It’s all 3 pointers. No one plays tough defensively anymore.
I understand your plan. Everyone will do what is best for them. Alicat, you are a great sports fan you don't ever need to explain your actions. Enjoy the graduation.I want them to make the improbable happen but out of self preservation I will follow along on social media and may turn on Max and Grande but will not watch live. I also can't watch tomorrow as I have graduation plans.
The Celtics defense was a joy to watch most of last season. The NBA has become way to soft. Refs call fouls that shouldn’t be called. No low post game anymore. It’s all 3 pointers. No one plays tough defensively anymore.
