Bucks fired Budenholzer and Sixers fired Doc. Those guys have NBA championships to their name. Nick Nurse too. There is ZERO reason to bring back Mazzulla. Not when Milwaukee and Philly are on the market for top coaches.

Pretty sure they wouldn't be getting embarrassed by the Heat if Udoka was still the coach. And the players know it too. That's not to absolve them but the easier path here is definitely a coaching change.

I totally get the frustration about these Celtics, but you absolutely cannot convince me that the Heat ain't playing way above their heads. Scrubs like Vincent, Martin, Robinson and Strus hitting everything. Even that fat booty bum Lowry turning back time. They don't even need special performances by Butler and Adebayo.

This is really hard to stomach. Where is this s*** coming from?
I disagree. They’re having their ups & downs. Jaylon Brown is absolutely horrid tonight. He needs to be benched for remainder of game.

can we bench jaylen brown? the guy must be hurt. He's airballed uncontested three pointers. missed open shots, I don't think the guy has one FG yet let alone a three.

shame the essentially fired Udoka. Mazulla is completely being outcoached, and it's painful to watch.

this whole "let the players play" is clearly failing.
Two first year coaches, two first year failures.
But they just HAD to fire him! And then see him get immediate interest across the league. The punishment never fit whatever ended up happening.

Yeah and the comparison was the bruins, who had the best team ever and didn’t make it out of the first round. I wish I could say the Celtics were a bigger letdown. They simply were not
President Trophy winners lose in the first round like ever other year.

Upsets in the NBA are far more rare.

Honestly, the Celtics having a losing record on home court by itself is more shocking than the Bruins losing.

It's not even a question. What the Celtics have done in this series is far more embarrassing than the Bruins choke. The sports are different.

Nick Nurse would win 3 straight with this roster.
Does Brad have the balls to fire Mazzulla though? He's probably just thrilled to be rid of that heathen Ime Udoka!

But if you sit down with Tatum and he doesn't think Mazzulla is the guy, it's that simple. Can him.

We better acknowledge by now that this Celtics team isn't as good as they make us believe. These playoffs have been nothing but a disappointment, I think even bigger than the Bruins. They should have handled the Hawks instead of fighting with them over 6 games and they allowed 33 year old and overweight Harden to have the two best playoff games of his career.

As I stated yesterday, not many teams win titles without a true MVP. Make your own judgment if you believe the Celtics can either be the outlier (Pistons, Raptors) or if they'll have an MVP on the team within the next years.

It would be the 1 seed vs the 2 seed in every conference finals if that was the case- that’s not what we’re seeing in either conference

The Celtics at least won a couple of series, I don’t even see the argument quite frankly.
